Fast, affordable, flexible - the path to the new front-end tech stack

An international platform with an outdated tech stack - actually a case for an extensive website relaunch. But this usually costs a lot of time and money. For bosch.com, we bring our full consulting and technology expertise to bear and realize the impossible:

a complete framework migration from AngularJS to React. The result: an optimized website that lays the foundation for innovation and excellent CX. And it's faster, more efficient and significantly cheaper than a rewrite.

Nothing is impossible.

The bosch.com framework was outdated and no longer designed for the latest technologies—a real stumbling block for further development and future-oriented solutions. As the front-end lead agency, we recognized the problem and came up with a bold plan: instead of a relaunch or rewrite, we advocated a framework migration. "Impossible," says the experts. We did it. Step by step, we migrated the framework from AngularJS to React—while the website was still running. With the new tech stack, we laid the foundation for a faster site and strong performance.

The experts say 'That's not possible'. We did it. I am still overwhelmed and grateful that our customer placed this great trust in us. The courage was rewarded.

You can have it all!

Fast, affordable and flexible—sounds too good to be true. And yet it is reality. With the significantly cheaper framework migration, we beat the rewrite and brought the technological basis up to the current state of the art at a fraction of the cost.

While the framework was being replaced in the background, the existing website could not only continue to operate without interruption, but continuous adjustments and optimization were also possible—and sustainable. This is a decisive advantage for marketers, as a rewrite or relaunch normally involves a separate team working on the new website and a pause in further development until the launch.

Future-ready platform

The new framework makes bosch.com a future-proof platform. This is because we have attached great importance to a sustainable, framework-agnostic platform design. So that the framework can also be flexibly migrated in the future. The new platform is secure, state-of-the-art in terms of an island architecture and ready for future technologies such as headless CMS and generative AI.

Our success factors for maximum impact

Successful together

We can look back on a long-standing partnership with the customer as a front-end lead agency. The unrestricted trust in our expertise and the close cooperation with our colleagues at Bosch made it easier for us to implement the project quickly, efficiently and seamlessly.

Strong implementation expertise

Replacing an entire tech stack without a rewrite and website relaunch was considered impossible by many tech experts. With the right team, a customized implementation concept and the necessary expertise and experience, we achieve the best results for our customers in a targeted manner.

Thinking about tomorrow today

We know what a good website needs to be able to do in the future. That's why we consider future functions and requirements for the tech stack right from the start when selecting tools and technologies. Whether it's a digital advisor or a smart chatbot for the customer interaction of tomorrow.
