If you want to contribute to a better digital future and really make a difference, you have to start early. In the fourth edition of the “Digital Future Challenge” organized by Initiative D21 and the Deloitte Foundation, Experience One accompanied future changemakers from all over Germany as they pitched their ideas.

The motto of the student competition in the winter semester 2023/2024 was “Responsible use of AI”. Participants were asked to develop suitable AI solutions for specific use cases and also address ecological, social and governance aspects. Linda Stauffenberg, Managing Director Experience One, supported the teams in developing their pitches together with leadership coach Markus Stauffenberg. With Experience One's Pitch Canvas, was able to apply what they had learned directly to the task at hand.

More than 50 teams of students from 20 different colleges and universities from all over Germany applied. After submitting their ideas by the end of November 2023, a jury selected five finalist teams who worked continuously on the further development of their projects. They were presented at the final on February 8, 2024. The winners: EduPin from the Technical University of Munich. The digital pin for children offers automated support in road traffic and anonymously records movement data to make it usable for traffic planning. The result: data-based and child-friendly traffic planning that contributes to greater road safety.
