The 19th German Packaging Congress was characterized by lively discussions and constructive exchanges on topics such as sustainability, the circular economy and digitalization as a “networking summit for the industry” with workshop character.

Every company needs to develop a branded AI experience to maintain control over the customer experience. But what is the best way for companies to do this? In the final presentation at the congress, Kai Müller, CEO of Experience One, looked beyond the boundaries of packaging and illustrated the relevance of AI for the future viability of German companies. With the help of his digital twin, he clearly demonstrated the possibilities, limitations, challenges and key aspects of generative AI.

Around 300 managers and executives from the entire packaging industry met at this year's packaging congress. High-ranking representatives from politics and business provided up-to-date insights and first-hand information.

In addition to the opening speech by Federal Minister Steffi Lemke, who emphasized the central importance of the packaging industry for a sustainable circular economy, there were lectures and discussions on solutions for a sustainable packaging economy, including circular economy models, recyclable solutions and innovative impulses.

A digital twin creates easy access to AI, breaks down barriers and enables assessment.
